IMG launches new products...

For all those who missed the mail from Bansi to phattebaaz group,

• JUKEBOX - Music server has been launched by the Director on April 10th 2007. It's good for the beginning, but as of now has some serious problems(read challenges) to be solved. I'll post screen-shots after a while.
  
• SAMPARK ( Alumni Portal) - Launched by Director on April 20th 2007. Very good design, implementation and look-and-feel. Kudos to alumni team (Sonal, Tarun, Sankalp, Ankit and Vatsal)
  
• New notice board- The ol' notice board had quite a few problems, so our lovely Luv embarked on revamping it all and made it such that there would no such thing again, ever. Great work! As usual, screen-shots to follow.
  
• Yaadein - Slam CD is launched.
• TBLS Online- "Online tbls is now a reality ,we have transfered the application on library servers n will be workin from next semester." right from Bansi's mail.
  
• New Website - It's in progress, very well towards the finishing line.This time around, we are making sure that whole of the website is database driven, so that any future design changes will be smooth. Mathew and Abhishek have done very good work of database design and getting our own home-made CMS a reality. Further, all the departments have their own themes, no more monotonous feeling. It will all be over, for sure, by the end of this semester. Kind of a mission.
  
• Lectures and Tutorials - Online lectures and tutorials portal has been launched this semester, thanks to a couple of late night efforts by Badaya.
  
• Students Homepage(2.0) - New design with much more authority to users with facility to upload their own websites, now that we have got hold of server space. To remind you, previously all that students do could was just fill up information through forms. Now everyone can make their own designs and can upload them directly. All this is possible because of some very good work by our own Mayank and Puneet.
