4. Online Faculty Recruitment and Faculty Response
5. Cartoon Strips
6. Lectures & Tutorials (ya I know... still!!!!)
Projects that are in pipeline:
1. New wiki insti website
2. Placement Online Company Login
3. Student Home Pages File Manager, so that students can upload their own files.
For info of the seniors, we have recruited our first year.
Note: I may have left few projects. If so, please update this blog or write them in comments!

And yes you forgot to mention about alumni portal presentation to the director and his response. Well i am writing it for you but correct that wehere ever i go wrong.
Weel yesterday the alumni team gave a presentation to the director and to all the administrative members involved in alumni affairs regarding the features of alumni portal. And he was all praise for these people. With some more changes though little but significant it can be made one of the most sought after IMG product.

Hey I just had a suggestion about the uploading file thingie.... I think we have that upload feature in some other applications. It will be good to make a general file uploading class(java/or whatever) with many parameters like the application name(from which the upload was called), file name, destination directory and stuff. And when you write such a general purpose file, commenting it properly is important so that the future generations of IMG can use it even after that code writer is gone :)..
Also while adding more IMG products is important, I feel making general templates for the work we do repetitvely in each application is also important.
Cool..i felt i was in the lab now imagining u guys seriously listening to my fundae :D.
ya we too actually are thinking on the same lines. we actually thought to make API of discussion forums. and also shwaitang is working on notice board in python....
Good to see that Alumni is finally coming up after almost 2 years since conception. Cognrats to Sonal, Ullas, Ankit, Sankalp and Madan.

Guys, are you also thinking to make the insti website look new, it has been time that you made some changes. Since net access is being given to students in rooms, are u taking into account of the coming load on .7, .2 and may be some others.
Yes, I totally agree with vivek. What we havent thought abt is esp on the load on .7 We got to format the comp but placement is going on n the db is on it. Also, we shd see abt the security of these servers as now there can be many many hackers roaming around in campus ;)
well, on the common login of .7 , we are tryin to launch this pending thing asap.
